Leave Policy Type 1: Non Work From Home & Full Time

1. Leave Policy:

If the employee wants to get a leave adjusted in 19 leaves he/she gets in a year, he/she has to apply for leave minimum 2-days/48-hours in advance.

0.1. Non-Sick Leave: If he/she applies within 48hours, there will be a deduction of that leave.

 

0.2. Sick Leave: If there is a sick leave/medical emergency/health issue/related. Then proof of sickness has to be submitted. (Note: Crocin purchase bill or any frivolous purchase bill in an attempt to make a Non Sick Leave a Sick Leave will not be considered.)

1. FAQ

0.1. Generally how many leaves gets credited per month: 1.5 leaves / month

0.2. First 6 Months: At an average of 1 leave / month. 6 leaves in 6 months. Then in the 7th month 3 leaves of last 6 months get credited (0.5*6)

0.3. Deduction:

0.3.1. If leaves not in hand and leaves taken

0.3.2. If leave not approved and leave taken

0.3.3. ONLY if in PP SALES: Talktime done below talktime policy (As of October 2022 we follow 1.5 hours in a month = 10min / day)

1.1.2 Short of Time

0.1. Short of Time 1: If any employee works at least 30minutes less, then counted as a half day (For Ex: For 8.5hrs shift, Incoming Time 10:30am and Outgoing Time 6:15pm- 45minutes less. Thus, half-day)

 

0.2. Short of Time 2: If any employee works at least 4hrs less, then counted as an absence (For Ex: For 8.5hrs shift, Incoming Time 11am and Outgoing Time 3pm- 4hrs 30minutes less. Thus, absence)

 

0.3. Pro-Rata Basis: New employees joining during the year will be credited with Casual Leave on pro-rata basis for the balance part of the year

 

0.4. Fresh Paid Leaves: Will be credited to an employee’s account on 01st April every year

 

0.5. Count of Paid Leaves:  Total: 19 (Casual Leaves-13, Sick Leaves-6)

 

0.6. Unclaimed Leaves: The sick leave and casual Leave, not availed will expire at the end of the calendar year. However, the same may be noted during Performance Evaluation.

 

0.7. Holiday Leaves: Total 11 All team members are eligible to avail holiday leave.

1. Definitions

0.1. Paid Leave: It means if the employee is taking leave for his personal use i.e going on for vacation or sickness in self and family. And informs at least 2-days/48-hours days in ADVANCE with handover to ensure smooth operations.

 

0.2. Absence (Unpaid Leave): It means if the employee is taking leave for his personal use i.e going on for vacation or sickness in self and family. And informs WITHIN 2 days with NO handover to ensure smooth operations. OR has NO Paid Leaves pending in the account for that year or month

 

0.3. Holiday Leave: A leave identified in company's holiday calendar of 11 leaves

 

0.4. Application of Leave: An employee must submit an application letter before going for a leave at least 2 days before taking a leave else it would be counted as an unapproved leave.

 

0.5. Handover Before Leave: Duties of an employee have to be handed over to someone to ensure smooth operations.Else will be given half a day absence. And half a day paid leave.

0.6. Unapproved Leave :- If an employee is absent from their work & NO handover to respective to ensure smooth operations. In that case leave without approval will be considered as leave without pay.

Type 2: Work From Home & Full Time

1. Leave Policy:

1.1. Each employee working from home needs to give 200 hours in a month (2400 hours in a year).

1.2. Only and only 9 holidays per year are granted which is equivalent to 88 hours in a year.

1.3. This means that for no deduction employee needs to give 2400 - 88 = 2312 hours in a year.

1.4. Accounting of leaves is done month to month.

There are no paid leaves. (It is already considered while calculating 200 hours else working hours would be 212+ hours. To keep it simple, we have put a flat number of 200 hours in a month)

2.1. Casual / Sick Leaves: In case you give less than 200 hours in a month, then deduction will happen proportionately
